Teamwork makes the Dream work….and the dream is that one day soon there will be better methods for diagnosis, treatment, preventions AND a cure for Alzheimer's and other Dementias. 
We Rotarians are People of Action who look to make positive impact on the world through our united humanitarian efforts. Rotary International has been working to extinguish Polio along with other world health organizations on the Global Polio Eraditcation Initiative since 1988. The burden of this disease has decreased tremendously with these efforts so we have hope that we can do the same for Dementias.
As of October 18th, 2026 The Suffern Rotary Team, led the past 6 years by member Bob Nachbauer, has raised $16,501.00 for the year 2026. We have until December 31, 2026 to continue to raise funds for the The Walk to End Alzheimer's. Our goal this year was to reach $40,000 so we are %41 there.
