A celebration of all the good things that District 7210 has done across the Hudson Valley this year was held on Thursday, June 29th at Robibero Winery in New Paltz from 6pm - 9pm.

Rotarians from District 7210 enjoyed a cocktail hour, buffet dinner, RYPAC Awards Ceremony and the installation of the 2023-2024 District Leadership.
The weather was perfect to enjoy wine on the outdoor deck as well as an area surrounding a bonfire. As you can see in the photo, Donalee, Jim, Judy, Ira, Amany, Pam & Randy all cozied around the fire in some Adirondack chairs. Live music filled the air as Rotarians from District 7210 mixed and mingled.
Our Suffern Rotary Club has much to celebrate on a year filled with successful service projects and fun fellowship, as well as being the home club for this year's District Governor.

Larry Palant as District Governor 2022-23 was honored for his dedication & service this year.  Larry personally visited every club in the district except for one. At every meeting he told his signature "Golf on Yom Kippur" joke. In his farewell remarks, Larry had to tell his signature joke one last time.  As a thank you gift, the new District Governor Peter Sullivan  gifted him a book of Jewish Humor so that Larry can find himself a new joke. Larry's family including his 4 young grandchildren attended the celebration so that they could see what Grandpa's 'job' was like as a District Governor.

DG 2023-24 Peter Sullivan's speech touched upon the Rotary theme of the year to Create Hope in the world.  Congratulations to all clubs on a successful year and may the Rotary year ahead be filled with creating much Hope.
