Documentary Movie: Julia's Story

Suffern Rotary and DG 2022-23 member, Larry Palant was an integral part in helping Julia's family to settle into this community. It's a story of love, courage and hope. Follow Julia and her 4 year old son Sasha as the fled their home country of Ukraine immediately after the bombs started dropping. See her courage of leaving her husband behind and coming to America to seek a better life for her son. See how a small community of individuals came together to make this happen by finding her work, a car, a home and school. It truly proves "it takes a village".  Movie plays for 70 minutes.
