 The students and staff of Suffern Elementary Schools would like to invite you to be a guest reader at our annual Rockland Read-In.  The Read-In will take place on Friday, February 13th from 9:45 AM - 2:45 PM.  We would love to include you as one of our honored guest readers.  Please feel free to bring your own favorite book to share or you may borrow one of the many books we will have available.

Our Guest Speaker will be Rotarian Mike Sidenfrau who is planning a fundraising event in memory of his daughter Jordyn.

He is seeking support of Rockland Rotary Clubs for this event which will be held on October 31. 2026 at Rockland Lake.

It will include a 5K run/walk as well as other family oriented events. Monies will go to Jawonio and Rockland BOCES who provided services to Jordyn. 

When do you step away from a situation and when do you step in?

 The Let Them Theory helps you learn how to navigate those difficult situations to determine what you can & cannot control, as well as how to develop the "LET ME" part of the process.

You DO NOT have to read the book to enjoy and maybe learn a valuable skill to improve your wellbeing!  

The Chats are led by a Lisa Estrin, LCSW, Dr. Rochelle Kepes. PNP and Pam Hess, MS SP.ED. 

This is a VERY Special program!! "Dealing With Scams & Technostress"is part of our Mental Health & Wellness series. This effort is to create awareness of the current scams, how to avoid scams and what to do should you become a victim of a scam. Learn how local public agencies are here to keep you safe & well.
